Dammenberg's story is the story of a family business, with a clear goal. Chocolate pleasure for everyone, including those for whom it has not previously been possible.
It all started in 1994 in Tampere, while the hand-made chocolate specializing in the chocolate factory was established.
During the years of activity increased, but a real change of direction occurs when the company transferred to the new owners.
The turning point that set the direction
In 2003, chocolate factory got new owners, when Marko and Kirsi Iso-Kungas take responsibility activities.
Marko has a degree in food engineering and live for yourself a special diet with diabetes. Kirsi has allergies specialized nurse.
Together they saw a clear problem.
The market was missing chocolate, which would at the same time, additional intangible, pure and of high quality.
This gave birth to the decision to start developing a completely new kind of chocolate production. Chocolate, which is suitable for everyone, without compromise.
Growth and demand
